Choose a connected machine to open Otters.

Start on the machine where Otters runs:

otters tunnel enroll --gateway https://gateway.ottersbot.com --name "My laptop"

Otters opens this page and shows a code and device fingerprint in your terminal. Your private key stays on that machine.

Compare this fingerprint with the one in your terminal:

I started this connection and the fingerprints match.

Only approve a device you are connecting yourself.

After approval, start the connection on that machine:

otters tunnel run

Use your usual I_HOME and I_WORKSPACE configuration. Keep the tunnel and your Otters worker running for remote access.

Checking your account…

This stops remote access immediately. Local history and permissions stay on your machine. Connecting again requires a new device approval.
